Earthwise: Kew Summer Programme

We were delighted to learn that Arjun Patel (Year 10) and Muhammad Nagi (Year 12) have earned places on the Earthwise programme. Co-ordinated by the Royal Botanic Gardens Kew, this programme for 14-to-17-year olds will teach young people about ecology, biodiversity and conservation. This is a very prestigious opportunity, with only 40 places available and applications open to students from the whole of Greater London!

During the free, week-long programme in August, students will:

• Conduct their own biodiversity research
• Use the 'living laboratories' at Kew and Wakehurst to develop practical fieldwork skills
• Hear from distinguished scientists and conversationists
• Strengthen their connection to the natural world

This is going to be amazing for the boys' CVs as well as being a lot of fun and enriching their classroom studies. Well done to the boys for getting involved - we look forward to hearing about it at the start of next year.
