Jeremy Lemmon Project Success - Zoe Cashman

We do everything we can to support our students’ passions within the arts. During June, Year 12's Zoe Cashman auditioned to be part of the Jeremy Lemmon Project, alongside students from across London. This programme – organised by Shakespeare’s Globe in conjunction with the Harrow School – support creative partnerships and access to higher education in schools. Zoe is pictured as part of this year's Senior School Production.

We have just heard that they have earned a place in this prestigious programme - one of only 45 students to be selected. This means that they will take part in three day-long rehearsal workshops this Autumn. The project will conclude with a special event in October with the chance to perform Shakespeare monologues and duologues on stage at the Globe, in the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse! A huge congratulations to Zoe - they join what is becoming a rich tradition at I&S, as this is the third year we have had students take part in the project. It is fantastic to see students pursuing projects independent of school - this one was introduced to them by Miss Thomson. It is another example of how Isleworthians get access to the best opportunities.
