Table Tennis World Championships Trip

We are proud to offer our Isleworthians a huge range of additional opportunities - taking them outside the classroom to enhance their personal development. One such trip took place in May, as Mr West took a group of students to watch the Table Tennis World Championships at the OVO Arena, Wembley. This was an amazing opportunity for students to watch elite sport and world-class performances. The trip was run as an Expression of Interest, open to students in years 8, 10 and 12. For the 29 students who attended, this was a real eye-opener - students marvelled at the speed and skill of the players, as well as the scale of the venue. It was impossible not to get caught up in the action, with students having an amazing day out and learning a little bit about what it takes to be a top sportsman.
