Globe Players Macbeth

We never stop working to give our students access to unique opportunities, both inside and outside of school. One such example saw a travelling theatre company set up in the school hall for a special performance of 'Macbeth' for Year 10. The Globe Players are a travelling theatre company who specialise in abridged versions of Shakespeare plays. What makes this so unique is that they stop the play at key points to provide detailed explanations. For Year 10, this was ideal, considering they are studying the text as part of their AQA English Literature specification. It was a brilliant way to remind students of key concepts that they will need to remember when they sit those important exams next summer.
